VX 511/06x VME card for embedded radar processing and display solutions.
The VX 511/06x card provides an excellent processing platform for hosting the
Cambridge Pixel HPx-150 Radar Interface card for radar video distribution applications. Up to 2 HPx-150 cards may be fitted on a single VX 511/06x providing a single slot solution for multiple radar and multiple channel distribution. The SPx Server software runs under Linux or Windows on the VX 511/06x to provide compressed radar video on the VX 511/06x’s Ethernet interface to one or more display clients.

For radar display applications, the VX 511/06x has been successfully teamed with Tech Source’s Condor 2000 XMC graphics card and the SPx software Scan Converter to provide a high-performance, cost-effective client solution for radar display. Based on the latest AMD E4690 graphics processor, the Condor 2000 brings high-performance graphics to the VX 511/06x and allows Cambridge Pixel’s SPx Scan Converter to provide multiple real-time radar displays with underlay maps and overlay symbology.
