CompactPCI Dual PMC SBC utilizes Intel® Core™ 2 Duo processor
Concurrent Technologies announces the release of an Intel® Core™ 2 Duo processor based CompactPCI single board computers (SBC) as a performance upgrade from the PP 410/03x released earlier in the year. The PP 412/03x uses the latest mobile dual core processor from the Intel® embedded roadmap, the 2.16 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo T7400 processor, giving an even greater improvement in measured performance/watt. The PP 412/03x can access up to 4 Gbytes DDR2-400 ECC SDRAM at up to 6.4 Gbytes/s. And for I/O flexibility there are two high performance PMC sites supporting both front and rear I/O, three Gigabit Ethernet interfaces, PICMG® 2.16 (Ethernet fabric), PICMG 2.9 (IPMI) and PICMG 2.1 (hot swap). The PP 412/03x can operate as a system controller board, a peripheral board or as a satellite board (blade). This combination of high performance data processing and a wealth of I/O ensure that the boards are ideal for intensive data processing applications within the telecommunications, defense, security, telemetry, scientific and aerospace markets.
