Commercial or Industrial Grade 3U CPCI SBC, Intel Core 2 Duo, PMC/XMC site
Concurrent Technologies introduces their latest 3U single/dual slot CompactPCI® single board computer (SBC), the TP 442/34x.  Using the latest mobile processors from the Intel® embedded roadmap, the 1.5 GHz or the 2.16 GHz Intel® Core™ 2 Duo processor, the board is suitable for low power data-intensive processing applications whereby the processor’s dual-cores can access up to 2 Gbytes DDR2-667 SDRAM.  This versatile 3U SBC supports a variety of peripheral I/O ports, an optional PMC/XMC module and can operate in a system slot, peripheral slot or as a blade.  In addition to the commercial grade version, two industrial grade options are also available for operating at temperatures over -40°C to +85°C or -25°C to +70°C.  The TP 442/34x 3U CompactPCI SBC is well suited to applications within the transportation, industrial-control, automation, scientific, telemetry, defense, security, and aerospace markets.

AMC Processor, 2.16 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo CPU, up to 8 Gbytes DRAM
Concurrent Technologies announce their latest, very high performance Advanced Mezzanine Card (AdvancedMC™) single width full height processor module suitable for AdvancedTCA®, MicroTCA™ and proprietary platforms.  The AM 110/10x supports either the 2.16 GHz or 1.5 GHz Intel® Core™ 2 Duo processor to provide high performance processing, and the Intel® 3100 chipset to support up to 8Gbytes of DDR2 ECC SDRAM.  The AM 110/10x is designed for use in a variety of applications including wireless base stations,  Voice over IP, media-servers, blade-servers within the communication market as well as projects within the defense, security, and industrial markets.  For embedded types of applications there is an option for an onboard application flash disk (up to 8 Gbytes).  Accordingly, the AM 110/10x supports a variety of industry standard operating systems.

Conduction Cooled 3U 4HP CompactPCI SBC, 1.5 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, XMC site
For harsh operating environments Concurrent Technologies introduces a low power, conduction-cooled, 3U CompactPCI® single board computer (SBC).  The TP 402/351-RC uses the latest mobile dual core processor and server chipset from the Intel® embedded roadmap – combining the performance of the 1.5 GHz Intel® Core™ 2 Duo processor with the Intel® 3100 server chipset interfacing up to 4 Gbytes of soldered DDR2 ECC SDRAM.  This ruggedized 3U SBC supports an XMC module in a single slot, and can operate in a system slot, peripheral slot or as a blade.  The TP 402/351-RC is well suited to conduction-cooled applications within the transportation, industrial control, telemetry, defense, security, and aerospace markets.  A ruggedized air-cooled version and a range of commercial extended temperature versions are also available.

VME64/VME320 Dual CPU SBC utilizes Dual-Core Intel Xeon processors
Concurrent Technologies announces the release of their latest dual processor 6U VME64/VME320 single board computer – the VP 426/23x which features two 1.66 GHz Dual-Core Intel® Xeon® ULV processors effectively providing four processor cores.  The board provides up to 8 Gbytes on board DDR2 ECC dual channel SDRAM and features a variety of I/O interfaces which can be further expanded via the board’s PMC/XMC site, while still maintaining a single slot solution.  This combination of high performance data processing, large amount of memory and flexible I/O interfaces ensures that the VP 426/23x has one of the highest VME dual-processor specifications available today; it is therefore an ideal choice for intensive data processing applications within the communications, defense, security, telemetry, scientific and aerospace markets. An extended temperature version is also available.

Dual Display PMC Graphics Adaptor, Commercial or Rugged
Concurrent Technologies announces a cost-effective dual display video/graphics PMC based adaptor.  The IO PMC/722 is a high-quality, low-power embedded PMC graphics adaptor supporting a variety of Digital Flat Panel (DFP) or analog CRT devices in single or dual display configurations; where the DFP and CRT can be driven simultaneously with the same image or different image sources.  The graphic controller’s rich feature set includes a complete 3D rendering suite, hardware support for MPEG/DVD playback, a 2D drawing engine that supports bit block transfers, transparent block transfers, color expansion, and line draw.   The IO PMC/722 is designed to add graphics functionality into a single-width PMC slot on the host board, e.g. CompactPCI® or VME, where functionality, power, space and cost are key elements.  Commercial and extended temperature versions are now available and ruggedized, conduction-cooled or air-cooled, versions will be available shortly.  Applications for this family of boards are expected within the defense, industrial control, transportation and various embedded markets.

VME Dual PMC SBC, High Performance/Watt using Intel® Core™ 2 Duo
Concurrent Technologies announces the release of their latest single-slot VME dual-core processor, dual PMC, single board computer.  The VP 417/03x uses the latest mobile dual core processors from the Intel® embedded roadmap, the 1.5 GHz or the 2.16 GHz Intel® Core™ 2 Duo processor.  The VP 417/03x family is I/O compatible with the popular and long standing VP 31x/02x family and gives an even greater improvement in measured performance/watt.  The board is ideal for low power intensive processing applications where the dual processor cores can access up to 4 Gbytes on board DDR2 ECC SDRAM at up to 6.4 Gbytes/s.  With two 66MHz PMC sites, suitable for a wide range of PMC modules, the board also includes extensive I/O functionality and can support VITA 31.1.  Commercial and extended temperature versions are now available and ruggedized, conduction-cooled or air-cooled, versions will be available shortly.   Applications for this family of boards are expected within the defense, industrial control and transportation markets.

Concurrent Technologies announces the release of their latest dual-core processor 6U CompactPCI® single board computer.  The PP 402/04x uses the latest mobile dual core processors from the Intel® embedded roadmap, ranging from the 1.5 GHz to the 2.16 GHz Intel® Core™ 2 Duo processor, giving an even greater improvement in measured performance/watt. The board is ideal for low power processing applications where the dual processor cores can access up to 4 Gbytes on board DDR2 SDRAM. 3U CompactPCI SBC, 1.4 GHz Intel Pentium M, operating at -40°C to +85°C
For harsh operating environments Concurrent Technologies introduces a low power, 3U CompactPCI® single board computer (SBC) supporting the 1.4 GHz Intel® Pentium® M processor LV 738. The TP 302/320 range combines the performance of the Intel Pentium M processor with the Intel® 855GME GMCH chipset and up to 1Gbyte of soldered 333MHz DDR SDRAM. The board operates as a system controller for up to 7 peripheral boards including hot-swap control. Two industrial grade options are available, the 1.4 GHz TP 302/320-K (-40°C to +85°C) or the 1.4 GHz TP 302/320-E (-25°C to +70°C). Commercial grade options (0°C to +55°C) are also available, using either the 1.4 GHz or 1.8 GHz Intel® Pentium® M processor. These 3U CompactPCI boards are well suited to applications within the transportation, industrial-control, automation, scientific, telemetry, defence, security, and aerospace markets.

CompactPCI Dual CPU SBC utilizes Intel® Core™ 2 Duo processor
Concurrent Technologies announces its latest range of single slot 6U CompactPCI® embedded computers using the latest mobile dual-core processors from the Intel® embedded roadmap. The PP 432/05x board supports the 2.16 GHz or 1.5 GHz Intel® Core™ 2 Duo processor and the PP 430/05x board supports the 2.0 GHz Intel® Core™ Duo processor. Each board can access up to 4 Gbytes DDR2-400 ECC SDRAM (dual SODIMM). For I/O flexibility there are 2 PMC/XMC sites supporting both front and rear I/O, plus 3 SATA drives, 3 RS232, 4 USB 2.0 and 4 Gigabit Ethernet interfaces. The board also supports PICMG® 2.16 (Ethernet fabric), PICMG 2.9 (IPMI) and PICMG 2.1 (hot swap). All boards can operate as a system controller board, a peripheral board or as a satellite board (blade). AdvancedMC with two hard disk drives or two CompactFlash sites
Concurrent Technologies announces an AdvancedMC™ (AMC) mass storage module supporting either two 2.5” Serial ATA hard disk drives (HDD) or two CompactFlash™ drives – Raid 0 and Raid 1 support is also available.  The AM 600/20x is designed to add user definable mass storage drives into a double-width full-size or mid-size AMC slot in a system, e.g. MicroTCA™, where functionality, power, space and cost are key elements.  The AM 600/20x AMC form factor is compatible with the open-standards AdvancedTCA® and MicroTCA system architectures. VME/VXS Open Standards SBC utilizes Intel® Core™ 2 Duo processor
Concurrent Technologies announces the release of an Intel® Core™ 2 Duo processor based VME/VXS single board computer (SBC) as a performance upgrade from the VX 405/04x released earlier in the year.  The VX 407/04x uses the latest mobile dual core processor from the Intel® embedded roadmap, the 2.16 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo T7400 processor, giving an even greater improvement in measured performance/watt.  The VX 407/04x can access up to 4 Gbytes DDR2-667 soldered SDRAM at up to 10.6 Gbytes/s.  The VXS switched serial standard - VITA 41.3 (1000Mbps baseband IEEE802.3) - is optionally supported to provide fast data transfer between other compatible boards in the system.  This combination of high performance data processing and a wealth of I/O ensure that the boards are ideal for intensive computing applications within the defense, security, telemetry, industrial control, scientific, and aerospace markets.

24-ports, VITA 41.3 Switched Serial Board for VMEbus VXS systems
Concurrent Technologies announces their new VXS packet switched serial fabric board, the FX 210/018, to operate alongside their range of VMEbus VXS packet switched single board computers. The FX 210/018 is an "unmanaged" embedded 1000Mbps baseband IEEE 802.3 switching platform, conforming to VITA 41.3, providing a low cost, low power, packet switching solution for voice/data communications. Typically consuming less than 16 Watts it supports eighteen payload boards, an inter-switch link and up to four Ethernet ports on the front panel. The switch core contains a wire-speed, Layer 2, Quality of Service (QoS) switch fabric. The FX 210/018 supports VITA 38 system management, user configuration port and hot insertion/removal to the backplane. Extended temperature variants are also available, including –40°C to +85°C. Typical applications include networking equipment, VoIP telephony systems, data management and multiple blade servers.

Dual PMC carrier, 64-bit/66MHz, for VME applications
Concurrent Technologies announces the release of their next generation of dual PMC Carrier Board for VME based applications. The AD CR3/PMC, a non-intelligent dual PMC carrier board, is designed to provide extra PMC sites to enable standard and custom I/O requirements to be implemented using industry standard PMC modules in VME systems. The AD CR3/PMC enables system I/O, graphics, data processing and network interfaces to be added to the existing functionality of a range of Concurrent Technologies’ VME Single Board Computers (SBC). Extended temperature options are available.
