1GHz Motorola® MPC7455 PowerPC®, VME64 Processor Board
(Discontinued)
This single slot board is
designed around the latest MPC7455 PowerPC G4 processor with
speed options of 800MHz or 1GHz and up to 1 Gbyte SDRAM. The VP
742/10x supports two flexible PMC sites, one with rear I/O. The
board also features a 10baseT/100baseTX Ethernet interface, two
RS232/RS422/RS485 serial ports, six 16-bit general-purpose
timers, real-time calendar clock and the Tundra® Universe II
VME interface.

Extended Temperature Low Power High Performance Pentium®
III single-slot VME Processor Board
At the core of the VP
100/010-E is the Low Voltage 800MHz Intel Pentium III Tualatin
(0.13 micron) processor in a Flip Chip package. The VP
100/010-E provides, soldered on board, 512 Mbytes or 1Gbyte of
133MHz ECC S-DRAM that can easily be upgraded to 1.5 Gbytes via
the onboard memory socket. Other features available are a dual
10baseT/100baseTX Ethernet interface, keyboard/mouse interface,
PC real-time clock, 2 RS232 channels, 2 USB ports, parallel
printer port, watchdog timer, long duration timer and an
Asiliant Technologies 69030 graphics interface including Digital
Flat Panel support.
Operating environment of -25°C to +70°C.

The processing
power is provided by either an 850MHz or 700MHz Pentium III
processor equipped with 32 Kbytes of Level 1 cache and 256
Kbytes Level 2 cache.
Additional
features including high performance Ultra-Wide SCSI and EIDE, 10
or 100Mbps Ethernet using a RJ45 connector, high resolution
graphics including support for flat panel displays, up to 256
Mbytes of lower cost SDRAM and support for DiskOnChip®. On board
fast hardware byte-swapping is also supported. In addition, the
board offers PC-compatible features such as keyboard, mouse, one
RS232 serial interface, two USB interfaces, floppy disk

VME board with optional RACEway++
The VP 741/10x features the popular 500MHz PowerPC MPC7410 G4
processor. The MPC7410 processor connects to the MPC107
(Chaparral) PCI bridge, chosen for its flexibility and excellent
performance characteristics, to interface to 2 Mbytes of
backside L2 cache, PCI bus, 16 Mbytes of Flash EPROM, and up
to 1 Gbyte Synchronous DRAM. The VP 741/10x also features the
Tundra® Universe II VME interface, a 10baseT/100baseTX Ethernet
interface,
2 PMC sites, two RS232/RS422/RS485 serial ports, six 16-bit
