In December Concurrent Technologies,
Colchester
(United
Kingdom), completed its transition to the ISO 9001:2000
standard. Having held ISO status since 1995, Concurrent
Technologies’ customers can be confident of the company's
ongoing commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
The ISO 9000 family of standards represents an international
consensus on good management practices with the aim of
ensuring that an organization can continually deliver the
products and services that meet the customers' quality
requirements. The ISO 9001:2000 standard encompasses all
aspects of a company's design, development, manufacturing and
service activities. Further, it emphasizes strong customer
focus and top management involvement at every level of the
organization.
"Concurrent Technologies’ ISO 9001:2000 certification builds
on the existing ISO infrastructure of commitment to quality
and continual improvement. This latest certification
demonstrates that we have the quality systems and processes in
place to ensure we meet, and hopefully exceed, our customers'
expectations," said
Glen Fawcett, CEO and Managing Director, of Concurrent
Technologies. "In addition, to achieve this certification, our
staff and management teams have worked enthusiastically to
evolve our current Quality Management System. Therefore, along
with our existing strategy, the data collection activities
when measured against tangible objectives will contribute to
the inherent success of the company’s products and services
for our customers.” |
