From July 1, 2006, the European Union RoHS 2002/95/EC Directive restricts the use of six materials in electronic components and assemblies. Specifically, these materials are Lead (Pb), Mercury (Hg), Cadmium (Cd), Hexavalent Chromium (Cr VI), Polybrominated Biphenyls (PBB) and Polybrominated Diphenyl Ethers (PBDE). An annex to the Directive currently allows for a limited number of exemptions in relation to some of these materials. Concurrent Technologies is committed to compliance with the RoHS Directive.

Concurrent Technologies’ products that are compliant with the Directive are identified by three methods:
a)		on this web site by a green diamond (); and,
b)		a “RoHS” label () on the product; and,
c)		the Dispatch Note / Certificate of Conformity associated with the shipment of the product will indicate a “Yes” under the column headed “RoHS Compliant”.

Certain components used on “RoHS Compliant” products may use packaging or solders that are allowed due to the Directive’s exemptions.

In the case of several older products some RoHS compliant components are not available and so Concurrent Technologies does not classify the products as being RoHS compliant; however these products may still use many components which are compliant with the Directive. These products are identified by three methods:
a)		on this web site by the lack of presence of the green diamond (); and,
b)		a “Pb” label () on the product; and,
c)		the Dispatch Note / Certificate of Conformity associated with the shipment of the product will indicate a “No” under the column headed “RoHS Compliant”.

In all cases, in order to declare compliance with the Directive, Concurrent Technologies has relied on data and other information provided by its suppliers and as such makes no representation or warranty regarding the accuracy of such information.
