Due to continued growth, we now have a vacancy for an Administrator. This is a varied role working in a busy office environment in Colchester, Essex. You will work closely with the Inside Sales Manager and Sales Coordinator providing support to the sales & Marketing team and our worldwide customer base. There are also opportunities to assist other departments where required, so the ideal candidate must be flexible, willing to learn and a good all-rounder.
The role typically but not exclusively involves the following:
- Arranging shipments of orders to customers with dispatch department
- Booking couriers/freight forwarders
- Importing/exporting products through customs & obtaining correct paperwork
- Progress chasing components
- Reception cover
- Customer care
- Must be computer literate with a good understanding of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Good telephone manor
- Database entry experience preferred
- Good attention to detail
- An interest in electronics/computing would be an advantage, but not essential
